Engineering nucleic acid-based biomolecular ensembles

The development of highly functional and sophisticated biomaterials is essential for addressing current biomedical challenges. 


Our laboratory develops advanced bottom-up molecular engineering strategies to construct novel biomolecular ensemble systems by integrating nature’s building blocks, including nucleic acids, amino acids, and fatty acids. We aim to create versatile nucleic acid-based biomolecular ensembles that function as next-generation aptamers and immunomodulatory platforms.


Through these efforts, we seek to expand the frontier of chemical biology driven by the power of “ものつくり”.
